The 74th Araw ng Kapalong symbolizes our rise from the ruins, brought about by the pandemic for the past two years, which made us more resilient to the ever-changing times. Through the struggle, we have been made stronger. We have overcome.

In celebration of this historical day, The Anniversary Program features “The Report 2022” of our beloved Municipal Mayor, Hon. Maria Theresa R. Timbol, highlighting the previous year’s accomplishments on August 1, 2022 at the Kapalong Town Square, hosted by Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz and Marco Alcaraz. In her speech, she presented her plans for the betterment of the people including the Urban Greening Project, New Public Market and Public Transportation Terminal, and New Public Cemetery which are currently underway.

Congressman Pantaleon D. Alvarez and Governor Edwin I. Jubahib also expressed their congratulations to the success of this year’s Araw ng Kapalong celebration and their continued support and service to the people.
