Mandate

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office under the Office (MDRRMO) a department that serves as secretariat and executive arm of Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) as mandated in RA 10121 that shall be responsible for setting the direction, development, implementation, and coordination of disaster risk management programs in the Municipality of Kapalong.

Vision

Disaster Risk Reduction and Management that is holistic, comprehensive, integrated and proactive in lessening the socio-economic and environmental impact of disasters including the climate change and promote the involvement participation of all sectors and all stakeholders concerned at all levels of communities in the municipality

Mission

To develop and strengthen the capacity of the local government unit together with partner stakeholders to build a disaster resiliency of communities, and to institutionalize arrangements and measures for reducing disaster risk including projected climate risks, and enhancing disaster preparedness and response capabilities at all levels
