The Local Government Unit of Kapalong through the Local Economic & Investment Promotion Office already organized the Kapalong Small and Medium Enterprises Council or the KSMEC to represent the

business sector in crafting policies and decision making of the local government. As recommended, the office proposes for re-organizing and re-naming of Kapalong Small and Medium Enterprises Council (KSMEC) to Kapalong Local Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The purpose is to protect and promote the interest of businesses and the business community and to be one of the advisers of the Local Government on the matter relating to trade, commerce, and industry.

Our Local Economic and Investment Promotion Officer, Ms Joevy M. Miedes and the Regional Governor of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Mr. Arturo M. Milan, CPA, share their bright ideas and give inputs in the importance of their functions as organized business group in promoting business in their locality and the whole province.
