The Department of Agriculture (DA) XI awarded 500 kilograms of Peanut
by Municipality of Kapalong LEIPO

The Department of Agriculture (DA) XI awarded the 500 kilograms of Peanut to the Local Government Unit of Kapalong earlier this morning. The Peanut Farming project was introduced and initiated by the local chief executive Hon. Maria Theresa R. Timbol as a livelihood program to the Former Rebel beneficiaries in Sitio Lono-lono, Mangkay, and Tawinian respectively.
This initiative is part of the response of the LGU to President Rodrigo Roa Dutertes' call for peace narrated under Executive Order No. 70.
