Provincial Tourism Office Initiates Initial Talks for Heritage-Tourism Circuit Project

The Provincial Tourism Office of Davao del Norte, in collaboration with key local stakeholders, initiated discussions with Mayor Maria Theresa R. Timbol on June 20, 2024, at the Mayor's Office, Kapalong Municipal Hall, Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte, for the upcoming Colloquium on Heritage-Tourism Circuit. This project aims to highlight the rich culture and heritage of the municipality.Present at the meeting were Dr. Noel S. Daquioag, Provincial Tourism Officer; Nestor Horfilla, Project Consultant; Niño Coquilla, Technical Writer; and Roderick C. Parcon, Kapalong Tourism Officer.During the initial meeting, Dr. Noel S. Daquioag expounded on the primary aims and objectives of the project, which are to emphasize the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of each locality within the province of Davao del Norte.Subsequently, Hon. Maria Theresa R. Timbol expressed her full support for the project and confidence in what the municipality can offer—from its renowned hot chocolate to its serene tourist destinations.
