Malacañang Palace, Metro Manila —The 2024 Galing Pook Awards ceremony was a resounding celebration of excellence in local governance, held on October 25, 2024, at the Rizal Ceremonial Hall, Malacañang Palace. His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. presided over the event, honoring the ten winners of the prestigious award, including eight exceptional finalists recognized for their outstanding contributions to effective governance across the Philippines.Mayor Maria Theresa R. Timbol represented LGU Kapalong, and proudly received the award alongside members of the Technical Working Group.
