The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Kapalong successfully conducted a First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training to another batch of TESS RESPONDERS&nbsp;from Brgy. Capungagan, Brgy. Mabantao, Brgy. Florida and Brgy. Sua-on as a Flagship Disaster Preparedness program towards building as disaster-resilient Municipality.The two-day training was designed to equip first responders with essential skills in delivering immediate life-saving interventions. Through this program, participants were taught critical first aid procedures and basic life support techniques, enabling them to respond effectively in emergency situations. The training emphasized practical hands-on learning and situational drills to ensure that our responders are fully prepared to handle emergencies with confidence and competence.Further, the training is an integral part of Kapalong's Flagship Disaster Preparedness program, aimed to strengthening the community's capacity to respond swiftly and efficiently to disasters. By enhancing the skills of local responders, we aim to ensure that life-saving care is provided quickly in the aftermath of emergencies, ultimately improving the survival and recovery outcomes for affected individuals.The activity comprises the training modules below:&nbsp;1. FIRST RESPONDER'S ROLE TO CRIME, Information Network and Peace Keeping- Kapalong Municipal Police Station2.FIRST RESPONDER'S ROLE to FIRE EMERGENCIES - BFP Kapalong&nbsp;3.INTRODUCTION TO FIRST AID and BASIC LIFE SUPPORT- Ms. Dypmhna T. Palapar,RSW and Ms, Jaiasent G. Cabactulan, Instructors.The MDRRMC thru the initiative of Hon. Maria Theresa R. TImbol remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering local responders, providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to manage emergency situations effectively.
