Mayor Timbol, LGU officials inaugurate P21 million-worth Thermal Decomposition Machine

Kapalong, Davao del Norte -- Heaving to conserve a greener Kapalong, Mayor Maria Theresa Royo-Timbol along with Gemma Cristie Castino-Lagare Vicada, Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDO), Officer-in-Charge of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), and Arnel L. Panimbo, MPA-LG, LPT., Officer of Kapalong Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO), headed the blessing and turnover ceremony of the LGUs Thermal Decomposition Machine worth ?21,000,000 in Barangay Capungagan.The said machine, manufactured by the Clean O2 Eco-Friendly, a DOST-DENR and DOH-FDA approved corporation, decomposes wastes such as industrial wastes, commercial wastes, medical wastes, and many more, on ultra-high temperatures reaching up to 1,250? to prevent the release of harmful substances and toxic gases such as dioxin and others.Through this landmark and other ecological initiatives, the Local Government Unit of Kapalong is set to empower the collective action of its people in addressing today's pressing environmental challenges.
