Kapalong, Davao del Norte -- Striving to bring various services to the people of Kapalong, the local government unit of Kapalong and Land Transportation Office Davao del Norte (LTO DavNor), in partnership with St. Joseph Cupertino Driving School, forefronted the LTO Caravan of Services on November 14, 2024, at Kapalong Green Paradise.
Spotted at the event were Jade Cyrus L. Caliao of LTO DavNor, Mayor Maria Theresa Royo-Timbol, Hon. Jonathan P. Pineda Sr., Hon. Romel J. Beldua, Hon. Nickel A. Mones, Hon. Baltazar B. Solis Jr. II, among others, who each delivered their messages to the recipients of the program.
In her opening speech, Mayor Timbol accentuated the importance of being a responsible and disciplined driver--emphasizing to attendees that a driver's license is not a ticket to engage in illicit activities on the road.
Furthermore, LTO Tagum District Office Transportation Regulation Officer Caliao expressed that it's their honor to bring LTO services to the municipality of Kapalong, eliminating the need for residents to travel kilometers away.
With an estimated 400 people flocking to the venue on the first day of the caravan, the event proceeded smoothly.
Meanwhile, the LTO Caravan of Services will conclude on Friday, November 14, 2024, marking not just the end of an event but the beginning of new opportunities for the people of Kapalong.
By bringing these services closer to home, LGU Kapalong together with LTO DavNor, aim to ensure that each resident of the municipality has easier access to a range of benefits.
