Tagum City, Davao del Norte -- July 1, 2025--The Local Government Unit of Kapalong actively participated in the grand celebration of the 58th Araw ng Davao del Norte, beginning with a vibrant sectoral parade and a spectacular showcase of its rich cultural and agricultural heritage.The festivities kicked off with a colorful parade featuring a grand float that highlighted Kapalong's abundance in agriculture, cultural diversity, and vibrant life. The float, a centerpiece of the event, symbolized the town's thriving farming industry, its rich cultural traditions, and the unity of its diverse people.The civic and float parade was attended and led by Mayor Edgardo L. Timbol, Vice Mayor Maria Theresa Timbol, Department Heads, Section Chiefs, and selected LGU employees.In addition to the parade, Kapalong showcased its diverse development efforts and cultural identity through the "Hulagway sa Kadagayaan: Agri-Tourism Fair." The event provided a platform for the municipality to present its various agricultural products, tourism attractions, and cultural heritage.
