Investors from Seoul South Korea visited Municipality of Kapalong to venture into production of Rattan made baskets

We are thrilled to announce the recent visit of Korean investors to our beloved municipality of Kapalong, yesterday, April 27, 2023. Mayor Maria Theresa Timbol and Arnel Panimbo, MPA-LG, the Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer, warmly welcomed the delegation, led by Executive Vice President Kim Jong Hoon.

The Korean investors expressed their keen interest in venturing into the production of baskets made of ratan. They were impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of our local artisans and recognized the industry's potential in the global market. This is a significant development for our municipality, as it brings new opportunities for economic growth and job creation.

During the meeting, Mayor Timbol and Mr. Panimbo presented the various investment incentives and opportunities available in Kapalong. They highlighted the strategic location of the municipality, its abundant natural resources, and the strong support of the local government for business development. The Korean investors were impressed with the investment climate and expressed their intention to visit the community to further explore the partnership possibilities.
