Mayor Maria Theresa R. Timbol, officiated the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Daycare Center and Barangay Health Station at Kimataan II, Barangay Gupitan, Davao del Norte, on June 19, 2024.Mr. Audrie Perez delivers the message from Congressman Bebot Alvarez and Ms. Jane Maliwanag. He also partakes in the ribbon-cutting on behalf of Governor Edwin I. Jubahib, marking the successful inauguration and turnover.Dr. Louelyn H. Exala—Municipal Health Officer; Engr. Emmanuel Fernandez—Municipal Engineer and other key officers of the LGU were also present.The officials were welcomed by Brgy. Captain Marco Antonio Pupa, Datu Nonoy Mahusuay, Chairman Arthuro Magunot, Kagawad Nilda Osod, and Barangay Health Workers(BHWs).The 1,800,000 pesos-worth facilities are part of LGU Kapalong’s priority projects in Barangay Gupitan for the current year. These include among others the construction of daycare centers, tribal halls, and potable water systems.“Para ni sainyo ug [sa inyong] mga anak, [ug] mga apo, [kamo] makinabang aning tanan,” Mayor Tess assured during her speech.Additionally, Dr. Louelyn H. Exala — Municipal Health Officer, underscored the importance of health in obtaining a progressive community.Meanwhile, the completion of LGU Kapalong’s projects in Brgy. Gupitan is targeted for this year.
