Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) Technical Lecture and Workshop

HAPPENING NOW || Another round of CLUP workshops is facilitated by the Municipal Planning and Development Office of Kapalong starting today, November 19 until November 22, 2024, at the MPDO Conference Room, LGU Compound. This week's activity highlights the 7th Step of the CLUP process - Preparing the Land Use Plan with resource personnel from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD): EnP. Iyarmoon G. Dulay - HHRO IV and Geol. Jr I. Lantaca - HHRO II.The first-day lectures involved Determining Land Use Requirements per Land Use Category, Suitability Criteria for Various Land Uses, and, Land Use Supply and Demand Analysis, Designing the Basic Land Use Scheme. The succeeding days will focus on the workshop proper with an expected output of Formulating the Proposed Land and Water Use for plan incorporation.&nbsp;The CLUP aims to materialize the vision of the local government for its land resources by allocating available land as equitably as possible among competing user groups and for different functions consistent with the development plan of the area (Section 3, Republic Act 7279).
