Chowking unveils their first takeout branch in Kapalong: Part of the company's Market Study

Now ready and excited to serve their delish food and desserts, Chowking finally launched their first takeout booth at Kapalong, located at the LGUs Model Store beside Negosyo Center, Municipal Compound, on September 3, 2024.Marking the opening of the new fast food favorite, Mayor Theresa R. Timbol led the ribbon-cutting along with LEDIPO Officer Arnel Panimbo, MPA-LG, and the Department and Section Chiefs of the LGU.Chowking offers their diverse menu: Chinese Style Fried Chicken, Chao Fan, Dimsum, Lauriat, Chicharap, and Halo-halo. They are open from Monday to Friday, 10:30AM to 7:30PM.The establishment of the Chowking Take-out Booth is part of the company's five-year comprehensive feasibility and market study. The company is now in its final phase of the study, and the result will determine whether to establish a permanent Chowking branch in Kapalong.Meanwhile, Arnel L. Panimbo, MPA-LG, the Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer of LGU Kapalong, is confident that the study will be favorable to Kapalong as we have already met the necessary requirements set forth by one of the top food chains in the country.“We facilitated and assisted them [chowking] from the very beginning of their study up until today, as that is the primary mandate of the LEDIPO Office... to assist and facilitate prospect investors”, the Economic and Investment Officer said."We are very fortunate that the LGU, under the leadership of Mayor Timbol and with the full support of the legislative department, has made it possible to establish our Model Store. This facility will make it easier for us to meet the needs of our potential investors, as we now have a readily available facility," he added.
