COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE/ EN BANC

Municipal Vice-Mayor

This Committee shall be composed of the Vice Mayor as Chairman and all the elected & qualified officials of the Sangguniang Bayan as members. In absence of the Vice Mayor, the Chairman on Rules and Privileges shall act as temporary Chairman.

Functions:

* All matters that are brought to the Sangguniang Bayan that it deems to be appropriately resolved or acted upon by converting itself into a committee;
* All matters that need collective decision and proposition for collegial action in the committee level as determined by the Sangguniang Bayan before plenary’s action;
* All matters that need not to undergo discussion or consideration in an executive session of the Sangguniang Bayan. For purposes of this rule, executive session means a meeting which is closed to the public for reasons as stipulated in RA 7160.
