Mandate
Extension and on-site research services and facilities related to agriculture and fishery activities which include dispersal of livestock and poultry, fingerlings and other seedlings materials for agriculture, palay, corn, and vegetable farms, development of local distribution channels through peoples's/farmers organizations, inter-barangay irrigation systems, water and soil resource utilization and conservation projects.

To become a well-developed Agro-industrial Municipality within a sound environment advancing pro-active participatory governance with the constituents enjoying an improved quality of life, in a peaceful just stable dynamic and progressive community.
Mission
Uplifting the quality of life of the constituents by providing adequate basic social services and facilities and equitable economic and employment opportunities within a balanced ecology, through the active paticipation and close cooperation of Civil Society Organization (CSOs) and the community.
